Proposals for breakout sessions, workshops, resource booths, roundtable discussion hosts, and tours. Please see the format descriptions below and submit a proposal that connects to any of the conference themes.

Breakout
sessions:
15-20 minute sessions will use a traditional presentation style. Presentations should focus on one of the content streams listed above. Note: Multiple presentations will take place during the same time slot.
Hands-on
Workshops:
One-hour workshops that guide participants through activity or project. These sessions can be indoors or outdoors or a combination of both! Share an idea for how you teach a specific topic or a project that can be replicated by other forest educators.
Resource
Booths:
If you want to get the word out about your programs this is the space for you! All delegates will have the opportunity to explore the resource fair on Sunday morning. There is an opportunity for a limited number of booths to be set up for the duration of the conference for a cost recovery fee.
Tours:
Are you a forest educator or content specialist with a site near Canmore? Inside Education can book the bus to bring delegates for an off-site experience at your location! Tour options will be held in the afternoon on Friday, March 18, 2022, and you can expect to have delegates on-site for approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on driving distance from Canmore. Group size for tours will vary between 25-50 participants. Must be located within a 1-hour drive from Canmore.
To foster and build a professional network of forest educators all ForestEDWest presenters are also required to be delegates. Please note there is a $275 registration fee which includes all meals and social events. Classroom teachers will have their registration covered by Inside Education. Registration subsidies are available if cost is a limiting factor.
